River Bottom

RIVER BOTTOM PARTY
When plans were being made for this reunion, a suggestion was made by Joe Knickmeyer that we have a 'River Bottom' party. When asked about it, he explained that groups of college kids (boys and girls, not necessarily couples) from East Central used to go to the Canadian River Bottom (mostly sand) and have a cook out and beer bust. Does Joe have more experience than he admits to? Anyway, we decided that we did not want to attempt that, but Charlie came up with a perfectly acceptable alternative. We ended up at the Elk's Club Lake Pravilion. Hot dogs, soft drinks, beer and seeing people whom you had not seen in years. What more could a person ask? Below are a few photos.
